The Shipyards Christmas Festival

Where: Shipbuilders’ Square, North Vancouver
Don’t miss the North Vancouver Christmas Festival in Shipbuilders’ Square from 5-8pm on December 5th, 2015. Shipbuilders’ Square will be transformed into a winter wonderland, filled with the sound of music, carols and the inviting smell of free warm coffee and rich hot chocolate.
There will be free family friendly craft activities, including ornament and lantern making, gingerbread decorating. Followed by the official lighting of the City’s Christmas tree. Join in the Christmas sing-a-long with local choirs and visit Santa in his workshop. If you are hungry, there will be food trucks on site. The Carol Ships will sail past and drop anchor in the harbour.
The City tree will be lit up for the season at 6pm by the Mayor of North Vancouver.

Watch for the Burrard Yacht Club’s Festival of Lights flotilla departing from the Burrard Yacht Club’s clubhouse in North Vancouver around 6 pm. They will travel up the inlet, along the waterfront, past Mosquito Creek, the Squamish Nation and the Lonsdale Quay towards the the North Vancouver Christmas Festival.
Shipbuilders’ Square located near the foot of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver.
All activities are free but donations are welcome. All proceeds will go to the North Shore Neighbourhood House.
