Parade Of Tree's - Free Saturday Dec 1st!

Hello!

I am so excited to share with you that this year I am participating in the Christmas by the Sea Parade of Trees which benefits the Harvest Project and Hollyburn Family Services Youth Safe House. I am doing this together with a fantastic group of like-minded, community based, entrepreneurs and business professionals. Come on out and see our tree! Trees are on display today through to January 6th.

Better yet, come out on Saturday December 1st for the Annual Christmas Festival where there will be free hot chocolate, coffee & cookies.

Stilt walkers, a gingerbread cookie character, reindeer's and the inviting sounds of Christmas carolers will welcome you as you arrive on-site. Stage entertainment gets underway at 4:30pm with a fire juggling show; a special screening of the Shipyards while the Burrard Dry Dock was in operations during the war, a Quartet singing traditional holiday songs and the Vancouver Community Outreach Soul Gospel Choir.

Santa is expected to drop by for a visit just after 5:00pm and the City of North Vancouver’s Mayor Mussatto will light the giant tree at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue at approx. 5:30pm.

Children are welcome to visit Santa at his workshop on site from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

Shipbuilders’ Square will be sparkling with Christmas lights and filled with children’s activities that include the always popular bug lantern building workshop; the gingerbread man decorating station, which for a small donation you can take home your own decorated gingerbread man and festive crafts hosted by the NV Community Arts Council.
